This is definitely horrifying and the nation braces itself for yet another strike. The most affected are the common man especially those who do not have a fixed income and hence rely to a great extent on the daily income. Yet who compensates for these tragic woes. None, surely. The whole lot of elected representatives have a lot more to do that line their pockets than listen to these commoners. Anyway there isn't much to be done as none of the parties in power have any vision except dole out such dramatic horrifying moments that people are forced to take. Looks like there will be a lot more messing up on all fronts whether it is home or foreign. These are one of the most degenerate times where values are lost at the slightest hint of something to be gained in whatever way possible. But we are to blame really for we get the sort of governance we ourselves toiled to elect.

Another horrifying tale is the latest at New Zealand where there was a massive earthquake. Luckily no lives were lost. But warning that something or the other is happening deep under the earth's crust. Perhaps there would be more tales of horrors from different parts of the world in the future as we are already messing up with our planet and making it even worser by mankind's voluntary inability to deviate into sense for so steadfast we are walking through the path of reckless and wanton destruction for materialistic gain and power over others. Come to think of it the earthshaking event at New Zealand may not have happened due to the human factors, but who knows in the long run a greater percentage would be the contribution of humanity itself. Remember, there is a lot of ongoing deep sea drilling and the like and perhaps the day and night isn't far when we would be searching around for rare resources in the ocean floors to the Himalayas. Aha, there is already something about the Himalayas. The Chinese are aiming from the roof tops to get access from the Western side to develop their Gobi deserts and other remote areas, but in all likelihood this wouldn't be their after dinner desserts. The erstwhile Gondowana Land has come sailing not just to lift the Tethys sea perhaps the greater truth lies in the way the same land might lift up a lot more folds on the Himalayan roof tops. Of course, this would take millions of years yet the grumbling itself could be heard and there is no need for any mad rush for developing these areas however fortunate or awesome the country's economic power might be. Pakistan had it this year with its floods and so did parts of China. When it comes to earth movement all technology of the world would be lost on the earth. Let us all hope that sense prevail in humanity.
